Originally, I used Kasabian’s “Reason Is Treason” for this video, but it was rejected by YouTube. So, after much re-editing (without audio!) and frustration, here’s the new version with a good song by Evanescence (thanks, Amy et al.). Anyway, enjoy the cool surf action. BANGALORE TO SF BAY is a special series which was on for one week,everyday at 5pm on NBC11. Home of Hope, Inc. is the HEART of this special series which was aired Thursday, September 28th, 2006 at 5pm on NBC11. The NBC crew went to Banglaore India and spent the full day at the HOH Project in Bangalore at the ATHMA SHREE SCHOOL. This is a school for destitute children from low socio-economic strata....

The system collects data from thousands of cell phones and matches the data acoustically with reference data that is collected via a different process. The requirements include data integrity but not high availability, so he was able to compromise in a way that significantly reduced cost and complexity.

Oil leaked from a cargo ship that bumped the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge is washing up on beaches as far as 40 miles north of San Francisco, the US Coast Guard said Thursday.

Up to 1500 gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel spilled into San Francisco Bay early Wednesday after a tugboat hit a wharf that contains a refinery fuel line, the Coast Guard said.
